Master Trần Văn Mỹ (born in 1951, 8th Dang, Standing Managing Master of the Vovinam Council of Managing Masters) has been elected by the Council as the new Head of the Vovinam Council of Managing Masters in the election meeting at To Duong (Vietnam) on April 28, 2024 to replace the late Grand Master Nguyễn Văn Chiếu who passed away in February 2020.

Before that on April 3, 2024 the Vovinam Council of Managing Masters has elected three additional official members: Master Vũ Văn Điền (6th Dang), Master Võ Hữu Lý (7th Dang), Master Võ Thành Lâm (7th Dang) and one alternate member Master Nguyễn Hoàng Hiệp (6th Dang).
